"My Sister's Knits" is Pet and Planetary Friendly
We will be Closed on Saturday, July 4th
See you Sunday, July 5th
My Sister's Knits is starting a Charity Knitting Project:
I
would like to ask all Knitters out there to take some time to knit a
square or two for this
Charity Project.
Please go to this link to see the quilt we will be making:
http:/www.raverly.com/patterns/library/barn-raising-quilt
The goal is to make one quilt.
So this is how it will work:
We
will be selling Raffle Tickets in the shop for $5/each or $20 for 6
tickets. One lucky person will
win this quilt. After the quilt is made and the money is donated we
will draw for the winner.
The Deadline for this is July31st, 2009
All money collected will be Donated to Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry.
Our food pantrys are
really hurting with so many people out of work. So lets all pitch in
and do our part for the Community
and RAISE MONEY!!!
Stop in the Shop to pick up a copy of the Pattern, this pattern has
been rewritten from the original
by a shop in Michigan and I am using her pattern with her permission.
My
Sister's Knits has drop in knitting/crochet every Tuesday morning from
9am - 10:30am. So bring your coffee & knit/crochet with us. If you
want to learn to knit, come in and for $10 we will teach you to knit,
or if you just need a refresher stop in.
Drop in Knitting/Crochet is also every Sunday from 1:00pm- 3:30pm. There
is always a 15% discount during these times.
My Sister's Knits is more than just a yarn shop. You
may find some funky button's, hand dyed ribbon, gorgeous new and vintage
jewelry , totes and bag's of all sorts (and not just for Knitter's either.),
soy based candles, specialty soaps, the list goes on and on!
So once you've checked us out on line, come for a visit, you won't be
disappointed.
We also offer services of custom knitted garments and repairs.
Our goal is to teach and share our knowledge of knitting in a place that feels like home. Come for yarn, leave with a friend. Knit, laugh, knit, chat, knit, sip tea or coffee, but do come to our little shop and become a part of this creative community in beautiful Beverly.
