In this class you will learn the construction of a sock. You will learn to turn the heel of the sock and so much more. If you are not familiar with double pointed needles you will also learn to use them.

Beverly Pilarzyk, founder of Knitter’s Journey, is dedicated to creating innovative knitting patterns and quality knitted accessories. Her passions in life are knitting, travel, and continued learning. At times, she has combined all three of these by attending knitting camps and retreats around the United States and in Europe. She has studied with several well-known knitting designer/teachers, including Meg Swansen, Cheryl Oberle, Maureen Mason-Jamison and Lily Chin.

A designer in her own right, Bev is a specialist at knitting with wire. Her knit with wire jewelry kits and designs for knitted accessories can be seen on Ravelry and on her website, http://knittersjourney.com When she is not knitting, Bev is an elementary school educator. She loves her students and sometimes knits for them.

Class Description: Knitted Wire Bracelet: 2 hour class

Create a knitted wire bracelet covered with gemstone beads. Learn how to cast on, knit with wire, add beads, and attach a clasp. Bracelet can be made start to finish during class time

Stitch markers are essential tools of the trade. What could be more fun then learning to make your own fabulous
beaded stitch markers. Everyone always needs more stitch markers. Take this class and you are sure to have fun
making your own designs.
